We Actually Called It: Breaking Down Our 2025 Pop Culture Bingo Card

At the start of the year, we did what any reasonable people don’t do:
we tried to predict pop culture.

Not in a serious, expert-analysis way.
More in a “this would be funny if it happened” way.

So we made a 2025 pop culture bingo card — trends, celebrity moves, random moments that felt like they might happen… or absolutely wouldn’t.

And then we forgot about it.
Mostly.

Fast-forward to now, and suddenly we’re side-eyeing each other going:
“Wait… didn’t we say this?”
“No, there’s no way we said that.”
“Oh. We did.”

This episode is us finally sitting down to look at the card again — not halfway through, not with optimism goggles on — but at the end of the year, with receipts, opinions, and a little bit of disbelief.

Some predictions were way off.
Some were accidentally right.
And a few made us genuinely uncomfortable once we realized how close they landed.

It’s part pop culture recap, part year-end reflection, and part reminder that making bold predictions is way more fun when you don’t take yourself too seriously.

We’re not saying we’re psychic.
We’re also not saying we aren’t.
